A grandfather prepares to pass a cherished watch to his grandson. What begins with the familiar language of a heritage-watch campaign becomes an intimate story about Alzheimer’s, family, and the meaning of that gesture.

Created independently by Vidya for donation to Alzheimer Genève, What We Carry approaches memory loss with restraint and dignity. The film invites empathy for people living with Alzheimer’s and the families beside them.

Vidya led the project from concept and screenplay through visual development, editing, colour and sound. AI-assisted production supported a process shaped by human direction, with particular attention to believable performances and visual continuity.
